What is codete?

 Codete is a cloud-based software application designed specifically for cannabis growers who wish to use their smartphones to interact with their cannabis plants remotely. Codete was created by our team of top-notch engineers and designers who know how to create mobile applications that are both innovative and functional. We decided to develop Codete due to the fact that we saw the need for a product like this. There were no tools out there that allowed us to do anything remotely related to our cannabis plants. We wanted to make sure that everyone could connect to their plants at any time or place without having to leave the house.

Why did you decide to start Codete?

 We started Codete after realizing that there was nothing similar to what we were building. We looked around and realized that there were many apps already on the App Store and Google Play Store that promised to help people stay connected to their plants while they worked or played outside. However, these solutions weren’t built for cannabis growers. Our passion for connecting with the cannabis plant led us to build Codete, a solution that makes remote monitoring possible.

How does Codete work?

 With Codete, users can communicate with their plants using text messaging or voice call to talk about everything from the weather to nutrition to water levels. Once communication is established, users can check to ensure that their plants’ lights are working or adjust their watering schedule if necessary. If there is a problem with the plant’s status, Codete will alert them via push notification or email.

Who uses Codete?

 Codete was originally developed for commercial growers, but now we have plans to expand its audience to include recreational and medical marijuana patients. Many growers don’t have access to high-quality technology. They aren’t able to track their plants’ conditions easily or often enough and are left wondering what might happen if something goes wrong with their plant. With Codete, cannabis growers will finally have a tool to improve their success rate and the quality of their crops.

 Are there any costs associated with Codete?

 There is absolutely no cost associated with Codete. All features are included in the app and are free for anyone to use.

How long did it take to complete Codete?

 We began working on Codete back in September 2014 and launched it publicly in May 2015.

When will Codete launch internationally?

 Currently Codete only works in the United States. We’re currently setting up partnerships with international distributors to allow Codete to be accessible worldwide.
