Instructions to follow                                 

Remove the screws from the door holding the thumb turn. After you remove the dial you will see two more bolts inside. Open them and take the plate off the door. After removing all this, you can easily take out the cylinder from the other side.

Remove the cylinder from the housing and grab tweezers. Use those tweezers to take the springs out of the cylinder. Carefully take them out without losing them. The springs are compressed and they might jump out of the cylinder. Therefore, be very careful while taking them out.

Remove the old pins from the top and bottom of the cylinder. Grab your rekeying kit and take the pins. Now get the key you want to operate the lock with in the future.

Insert the key inside the cylinder and turn it to 45 degrees. Now insert the new pins from the bottom and turn the key in both directions. Check out where the pins settle down and allow the key to working properly for the lock.

After the key gets a perfect position. Take it out and attach the springs back. Then place the cylinder back in the housing and tight it gently using the tightening tool. Don’t be too hard as it may harm the lock.

Place the lock back on the door. Give it the previous position and place the plate back on the door. Screw it again and then place the thumb grip on it. Use a screw drill or a screwdriver to tighten the bolts on it.
